Shakra is our mummy extraordinaire who came to us after being found alone and with a form of skin cancer on her nose. She has been a total blessing to us however, as although she is not comfortable with humans she has mothered four babies at the trust and has been wonderful and loving.
Shakra doesn't trust nor like humans at all from her time out in the world alone but is an absolute wonder with the baby kittens who get abandoned or dumped without a mother. We put them in with her and she grooms them, keeps them warm and loves them. It is due to her that several little ones have survived and it is her legacy.
She has so far helped Angelo, Pippa, Tia, Orion and most recently Holly - she has helped them all grow to be strong and healthy little kittens.
Since she is still quite unapproachable it is doubtful she will ever be homed and as a result she would like to have a sponsor family to help her live happily in the trust knowing that someone cares. Please email us
