About Operation Lucky.
Operation Lucky began when we had a special case arrive in the form of a tiny six week old kitten who had just escaped being run over but who was brought to us covered in scabs and his eyes were bulging from the Calicivirus he had.
We named him Lucky and set up a special fund for him as he needed vet treatment above and beyond the norm and would need to have both eyes removed. He has since made an amazing recovery and has found a happy forever home. Read about his story here.
Because of this wonderful outcome we have kept the Operation Lucky account open in his honour for cases that require specialised care. This is care that is above and beyond the normal vet treatments and often cost a lot more money.
