Today we said goodbye to our oldest resident, Roly. She came to us with Kitty when their owner went into a rest home.

Today was
a sad day for the Trust as we said goodbye to our dear little girl
Pingu who departed this life to go to the Rainbow Bridge. Pingus story
along with her sister Katie was in our newsletter and she will be sadly missed. Run free now Pingu, you have four good
legs and a beautiful fluffy tail.
We
have a special story to tell about Lucky. Lucky was picked up on
Baird’s Road in Otara in late May, as dusk fell and was lucky as a
car had just straddled him. He was run over but was unharmed
but
once he was brought to us we discovered he was also blind and has had
to have surgery.

Little Genevieve (pictured left) was adopted on Sunday 8th
November and went to her new home in Kohimaramara.
We
had a wonderful cat at the trust who was brought to us very timid,
emaciated and who had just lost her litter. However, we have had
several very small kittens abandoned or surrendered to us that Shakra
has taken on as her own. She has helped mother these four little ones
and all of them are now thriving. SPECIAL CASE
Cat of the week

Briar
Briar is a pretty girl who is a
former street kid so
is a bit of a nervous cat due to her homeless days. She would love to
find a very special family who may be able to give her a lot of time
and help bring her out of her shell. Alternatively she would love a
sponsor family if you are unable to adopt at this stage.Give us a call
if you are interested in this or click here to read more about Briar.
