Checkers is a beautiful black and white girl who has had some hard times. She came to us with three kittens and we were told they were her kittens - unfortunately they were very ill and all died. It was a hard thing to have to go through for Checkers particularly as she was afraid and cautious of humans.

We took Checkers in to get speyed and found that she was actually 6 weeks pregnant but she lost her babies and was grieving for a long time. She is nervous and can be aggressive if she does not know you. She is a cat with great potential though and while it may take some time we hold out hope that she will become adoptable.
