Carmen is a beautiful girl who can be very cautious with new people - she has been at the trust since around August 2011 and on arrival it was suspected perhaps she was pregnant as she was very lethargic and was taken down to the vet for a check up.
Once she had been checked out it was revealed that she has a heart murmur. Because of this we are keeping an eye on her and she will remain a sponsor cat until we can find the right fit for her in a forever home.
Carmen was cautious on arrival but is friendly with those she sees often and has been described as a very ‘gentle, refined lady’!
However, despite her heart condition, Carmen is six years old and will most probably live a very long and happy life so we are just waiting for the right family to find her. Until that day though, she will happily be a sponsor cat.
